Guitar Hero Obsession

I finally 5-starred "You really got me" on Easy. It was kicking my ass. Yes I am lame.

I also "beat" the game on medium, having unlocked Stonehenge and "played" Free Bird. I use the quotse because I was so far in the red on the songs of the last set, including Free Bird, that not only was it a miracle of gaming strategy that I finished didn't get boo'd off the stage, but I was missing so many notes that it wasn't even fun. A judicious use of Star Power, plus the realization that I was tanking hard with no way to play my way out of it so I just focused on a single colored note and tried only to hit those, got me to the end with the meter red and shaking and the crowd throwing Pepsi bottles at my head.

But I got through. :)

I haven't felt this obsessed over a game since the original Command&Conquer. (At lease I got in on the ground floor of that one complete with online play via kali.) I played Surrender on Easy and unlocked the "Perfect Score" achievement, too. :) However, I don't really see myself ever passing a single song on Expert, so there's no way I'm getting all 1000 gamer points out of this one. But I am having a blast and can't wait to get another guitar so my wide and I can play multiplayer.
