The Election
OK, so Bush won and now the liberal talk radio show claims that people actually voted for Kerry, but the automated machines were rigged to make sure Bush won. Uh, yeah. OK.
In other news....Californians are stupid. It might be time to cut and run. Every election, every single bond measure passes. WTF??? Don't people understand that the state is not in good financial condition? Does anyone understand just what the hell a "bond" is? I'll tell you what it is: it's a biug freaking loan that gets paid back over 20 years! The one that pisses me off this time is a doozy: 3 billion dollars for stem cell research. 3 billion. Hey, stem cell research is a good thing and all, but we just aren't in a position to go another $3B in debt for it. Gee, I wonder who paid to get that one on the ballot? Biotech industry maybe?
The whole propostion thing is this stupid state needs to be scrapped.
